Our Mission:
We are community centered media with a mission of increasing volunteerism and participation in community projects, and raising awareness of local causes for the betterment of the Cheat Lake and Morgantown areas. We strive to make our community more self sufficient by encouraging residents to patronize locally owned businesses and those businesses to network with one another.

Advertising Rates and Specs

Business Directory: Includes one (1) listing in our business directory under the heading most appropriate for your business. We can create a custom heading if no such category exists. You may choose to include a brief description of your business (20 characters or less) or your company slogan. This listing provides a link to your company web site.

Full Color Ad: This includes one (1) full color ad with graphics completed by advertiser. Please see below for information regarding graphic design fees. This also includes an UNLIMITED number of listings in our business directory and, as described above, under appropriate headings only. We WILL NOT place business listing under an inappropriate heading for the sake of more exposure. Please refer to our policy for more information regarding Full Color ads. This ad and all Business listings will include links to your company web site.

• 1/2 Page $75/month
• 3/4 Page $100/month
• Full Page $125/month
Sponsorships: Be a part of our mission to support our community by partnering with a local non-profit organization to increase awareness of their cause. This includes a 1/4 page Full color ad and an unlimited number of business directory listings for your business. As our thanks for your support, we will include an unlimited number of ad redesigns and change outs throughout the year, and we will also list your name and/or your company as a sponsor. The non-profit organization will receive a 1/4 page Full color ad free of charge thanks to your sponsorship.

Full color ads are created by our Graphic Design team using your input and graphics if you choose. All ads and business listings will have a link to your company web site. There is an additional one time Graphic Design fee of $30 for 1/4 and 1/2 page Full color ads. There is an additional one time Graphic Design fee of $60 for 3/4 and full page Full color ads. These fees are in addition to the monthly ad fee. These charges will be waived if advertiser completes graphic design. Please contact info@cheatlake.com with questions regarding graphics requirements.

Web site Advertising Policy:
All ads must be paid for in full for the month they are to appear on the site before they will be uploaded to our site. We accept Visa, Master Card, Cash, or Check.

A 15% discount applies to the final balance for accounts that are paid in advance for 12 months advertising.

Additional fees apply for Cheat Lake E-Magazine to complete Graphic design of Full color ads. If you wish to have us design your ad, please allow an additional 2-4 weeks for ad placement.

Price for Full color ad includes up to two (2) ad redesigns and change outs per year. There is a minimum $5.00 fee per ad change out after initial two (2) change outs. These can be uploaded at your discretion, but please allow 2-4 weeks for change outs to be made during holiday seasons. For Example, if you request your regular ad removed so your holiday special can be advertised, please contact us 2-4 weeks before you want this change to appear. We make every attempt to meet your request for change, and can make changes with less notice, but this will be determined on a case by case basis, and at the sole discretion of Cheat Lake E-Magazine.

All web site advertising is subject to Cheat Lake E-Magazine approval. We reserve the right to reject any ad that we feel detracts from the image of cheatlake.com or competes with our products or services, or is offensive, makes derogatory statements, or detracts from the mission of our E-Magazine.
