There are no official campgrounds on the lake. However there are locations accessible by boat where you can camp. There are two parks close by where you can camp, Coopers Rock State Forest & Chestnut Ridge Park. Both parks have spaces available for RV's and towable campers.
Yes, but there is no way to reserve the Cheat Lake Park, it is open to the public. There are picnic tables, public restrooms, beach, and playground. You will need to bring a portable grill.
